Medical website design FAQs
Do I need a custom website or can I use a template?
You don't need to choose a template or build anything yourself. We design your website around your clinic's branding and write the copy for your patients, then show it to you working on a real link. It costs the same monthly price as any of our plans, from £12.99 + VAT, and you only pay once you've seen it finished.
What features should a clinic website have?
Each practitioner's professional registration (such as a GMC or GDC number), specialisms and qualifications; the locations where you see patients, with opening hours; the treatments you offer; and an appointment button on every page. A clinic with several locations fits the Business plan, with up to 10 sections: a page for each specialism and each location.
If your clinic is registered with the CQC in England and has been given a rating, you must also display your latest rating on your website; we place it where patients can see it clearly.
How do I add online booking to my clinic website?
If you already use an online booking system, we link to it from a button on every page. If you don't, patients request an appointment through a short form or WhatsApp and you or your receptionist reply to confirm the time. Patients don't need to register or learn a new system.
How do I make my clinic website show up in Google?
Give each treatment its own page, use the words patients actually search for, and keep your name, address and opening hours consistent on every page. We build the site with that structure from the start.
If you want to rank for a specific search, such as a treatment in your town, our SEO plan at £79 a year works on one phrase of your choice.
Content management for non-technical staff
The website includes a simple dashboard to change opening hours, prices, photos and text without any coding, with a step-by-step written guide. And if you'd rather not touch it, email us and we'll make the change within your plan's included updates.
